Max, the tutor, giving two thumbs up on an airfield in front of mountains

Hi, I'm Max

I'm a computer science undergraduate. Before starting this, I spent a year teaching Python to kids at a robotics centre and coached its competition team. That is where I learned what actually works with a group of nine-year-olds: small classes, everyone typing, and a project they can show off at the end.

I teach every lesson myself. With six students I can see every screen, so nobody gets stuck quietly at the back.

Free trial lesson

1 hour online session, build a working quiz game and keep the code.

AI literacy workshop

2 hours online, free. What AI tools can and cannot do, how to use them for schoolwork honestly, and where the answers come from. For students and parents.

Do they need any experience?

No. All Level 1 classes and the December workshop start from zero. Lessons are written for ages 9 and up; curious adults are welcome too.

What do they need to have ready?

A laptop and internet. We code in Pickcode, which runs in the browser. Nothing to install.

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit by PayNow confirms your place; the other 50% is due before the first lesson.

For example, Teens Level 1 is $620 a term: $310 to confirm, $310 before lesson 1. Each level is 26 weeks taught as two 13-week terms. Term 2 is a separate $620, billed the same way when term 2 starts.

Which discount do I get?

Each booking receives one discount, whichever gives you the greater saving: the launch price (20% off your first term, first 12 students) or the December continuation ($80 off the January term for December workshop students). Discounts cannot be combined.

What if we miss a session?

There will be a replacement lesson. I book your child into another class at the same point in the curriculum, or run a short one-off session if no seat is free. You also get the recap and code from that lesson.

Where are lessons held?

Online via Google Meet.

Who is teaching?

By myself! Max! Every lesson.
